The Advance Auto Parts app delivers a direct, always-on connection with customers — providing the products, information, and education they need anytime, anywhere. Designed to create a seamless and satisfying shopping experience, the app leverages emerging technologies and intuitive UX design to help users solve their automotive challenges with ease. Customers can find the right part quickly, check in-store or online availability, and order for pickup or delivery. They can also save vehicles to a virtual garage, locate nearby stores, and manage loyalty-program rewards.

To achieve exceptional performance and responsiveness, Astea and Advance Auto Parts chose to build the app with React Native. The backend was developed using cloud-native solutions such as AWS API Gateway and AWS Lambda, powered by Node.js, to create a custom API layer integrating with the company’s e-commerce systems. These services now support all of Advance Auto Parts’ B2C applications, including its redesigned website — also developed with Astea’s engineering team.

Launched for iOS and Android in March 2020, the app has earned widespread positive reception. Ongoing development continues to add features and enhancements. For its partnership, Astea received Advance Auto Parts’ Partner of the Quarter award on August 20, 2020.

DailyPay is a fintech company offering an on-demand pay platform that empowers employees to access their earned wages ahead of payday. The service enhances employee financial wellness, engagement, and retention while integrating seamlessly with employers’ existing payroll and time-management systems.

The platform provides secure, user-friendly access to wages, along with optional features such as a reloadable prepaid card, off-cycle pay disbursement, and real-time cash rewards. Employers using DailyPay report improved satisfaction and reduced turnover — a direct result of its accessible and transparent approach to financial flexibility.

Intellogo is an AI-driven content-discovery and recommendation system that helps publishers and retailers connect readers with the stories they’ll love. Using advanced machine-learning algorithms, Intellogo analyzes and understands vast volumes of text to deliver highly personalized content recommendations.

The system’s recommendation engine applies supervised statistical machine-learning methods for content-based search, recommendation, and categorization. By parsing a book’s or article’s content, it builds internal statistical models to assess compatibility and similarity between works. Intellogo can also categorize previously unseen content to determine attributes such as genre, tone, or authorial style (for example, in the voice of Ernest Hemingway). A publisher searching for “classic” science-fiction titles can instantly surface compatible, untagged manuscripts.

Astea has been Intellogo’s sole technology partner from inception — leading exploratory analysis, proof-of-concept, and the design and implementation of the full distributed recommendation system, along with business-analysis and QA support.

On behalf of a leading global risk and reinsurance organization, Astea created a sophisticated platform to aggregate and analyze risk exposure and produce insight-rich reports across the company’s (re)insurance portfolio.

The system includes a web-based interface that connects multiple data sources and automates simulation runs, enabling precise analysis and aggregation of risk at every organizational level.
