Donev

Expert Systems Engineer

For more than 15 years, Yuriy has been one of Astea’s most essential systems engineers, designing and developing specialized software solutions tailored to complex client needs. Beyond his technical expertise, he plays a major role in identifying exceptional external talent and integrating advanced specialists into the team. Yuriy is also a key figure behind Astea’s internship and Boot Camp programs, mentoring future engineers in Dev, DevOps, and QA. In addition to shaping people and projects, he’s deeply involved in the company’s operational and strategic planning, helping steer Astea’s long-term vision.

Kalina Zdravkova

Software Analyst Senior Level 3

Kalina is a multifaceted analyst who brings structure, mentorship, and sharp critical thinking to every facet of her work. Whether she’s recruiting analysts or mentoring interns, she infuses her work with clarity and intention. She actively contributes to evaluating new project opportunities and plays a leadership role in Astea’s feedback culture. Her ability to deliver – and receive – constructive, impactful feedback makes her an invaluable part of the team’s continuous growth.

Aleksandar Pazvantov

Expert Systems Administrator

Since joining Astea in 2009, Aleksandar has led the design and implementation of infrastructure for clients ranging from Fortune 500 corporations to early-stage startups. His dual background in Systems Administration and Automation Engineering makes him an indispensable technical partner across teams. Aleksandar is known not just for his reliability and depth of knowledge, but for his passion for travel – which makes him a go-to source for destination ideas when you’re planning your next vacation.

Yordan Ivanov

Automation Quality Assurance Engineer Senior Level 3

Yordan (“Dani”) has been an integral part of Astea’s QA team since 2017, ensuring the quality and reliability of software across multiple client projects. He specializes in QA recruitment and mentoring, helping junior engineers build skills and confidence in a supportive environment. Dani also takes part in Astea’s internal feedback cycles, making sure every voice is heard. Outside the office, his hands-on mindset shows up in his love for fixing cars – a passion that mirrors his dedication to precision and improvement in his work.

Aleksandar Gаlаbov

Software Engineer Senior Level 3

Sasho has thrived across a wide spectrum of Astea projects – from billion-dollar enterprise builds to fast-moving startup collaborations. His journey has taken him from mentee to mentor, now guiding interns through their early growth as developers. Sasho is also one of Astea’s most engaged culture builders: he represents the company at tech and career fairs, leads hackathons, and organizes movie nights and board game sessions. His energy and commitment help keep Astea’s spirit alive both inside and outside of project work.
