The Role: Beyond Just Pixels

At Astea, we look for architects of digital experiences who can sit at the table with Fortune 500 stakeholders and visionary founders. As a Senior UX/UI Designer, you will bridge the gap between complex business logic and human-centric design. You won’t just move pixels; you’ll lead the design journey – transforming high-level requirements into polished products with the freedom to refine designs from wireframe to final product.

Your Daily Mission & Collaboration

Being a Senior UX/UI Designer at Astea goes beyond the screen. This role is a unique hybrid that demands excellence across three pillars: masterful design and prototyping, strategic client communication, and sharp requirements analysis. You won’t just be following a brief; you’ll be defining it.

In your daily work, you will:

  • Gather requirements by direct interactions with clients; document, elaborate, refine, and improve them; track status and report by direct participation in the development process
  • Have a lead role in the User Experience design process, including the preparation of wireframes, graphics designs, and workflow descriptions
  • Iterate designs and solutions efficiently and intelligently
  • Analyze and document business processes
  • Participate in the creation and management of team tasks using issue tracking systems and project management systems
  • Communicate with external parties and collaborate with the rest of the project stakeholders
  • Ensure that the delivered software increments meet the specified acceptance criteria and the expectations of the involved stakeholders

The Ideal Match for Our Team

  • Experience with image manipulation software products, such as sketching and wireframe creation tools, raster and vector graphic editors
  • Familiarity with modern User Experience and Application design approaches and current trends
  • Good interpersonal and client-handling skills with the ability to manage expectations
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English
  • Analytic thinking
  • Self-discipline and time management
  • Presentation skills
  • Ability to contribute to a team effort
  • 4+ years of professional experience as an UX/UI designer and/or business analyst
  • Previous work in a software development team

Any non-empty set of the following skills is considered a plus for the candidate:

  • Experience with issue tracking and project management systems
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies

What’s in it for you?

  • High-impact collaboration: Work directly with stakeholders from Fortune 500 giants and innovative startups, giving you a seat at the table where key product decisions are made.
  • Personalized growth: Advance your skills through an individual career development plan designed to align your ambitions with the company’s evolution.
  • Continuous learning: Stay ahead of the curve with company-supported internal and external trainings, ensuring you always have access to the latest industry knowledge.
  • True flexibility: Take control of your schedule with flexible working hours and location.
  • Genuine work-life balance: We value results over desk time, ensuring you have the space and energy to recharge and enjoy life outside of work.
  • Rewarding environment: Enjoy a comprehensive package of social benefits that recognize your contribution to the team.
  • Premium healthcare: Stay protected with supplementary health insurance, providing peace of mind for you and your well-being.
