Learning Ally is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping students with vision impairment and learning disabilities, such as dyslexia, succeed in school and life. They offer resources such as audiobooks, early literacy programs, and professional learning workshops for educators.
Learning Ally’s solutions are designed to improve reading comprehension and engagement for students in Pre-K to 12th grade. The company also collaborates with schools, school districts, and states to provide assistive technology and educational support.
Learning Ally creates human-narrated audio textbooks, literature, and educational solutions for students with print and learning challenges, including dyslexia and blindness. Learning Ally’s audiobooks are accessible on computers, Chromebooks, smartphones, and tablets, and help dyslexic and visually impaired students to access grade-level appropriate content and improve comprehension.
Astea helped Learning Ally create Link for Chromebooks, a playback solution that has significantly expanded the number of students able to succeed with audiobooks.
The applications are being used by thousands of students with learning disabilities.
